Svetlana. Lines and rhythm. I like to photograph water. There could be so many patterns and texture depending on the light, wind, etc.

  1. Svetlana, my personal favorite is the make Mallard, second from the top. Maybe it's the angle--and probably the color of the water. The duck really stands out, and the water is background. Also he has a nice head reflection :) . Was this taken on the same day? Same water? If so, that's amazing. How did it get to be such a swimming-pool blue? Nice and vivid.

  2. Svetlana..what lovely ducks! Nisqually I presume? :>)) The Mergansers and Canada (or Cackling?) Geese are so beautiful. Love the color of the water with the Mallard coloring. The bottom picture of the Northern Shoveler really catches my eye, I think because of the iridescent purple of the head and the light in the eye along with his long Shoveler beak. Love all the water rippling effects, they are all so beautiful!
