Lines--RAW vs. jpeg

It is not fair of me at all to ask you all to guess which ones are RAW and which ones are jpeg, because I TOTALLY fiddled with the RAW images and messed with all of those continuum bars until I restored the vivid colors that I believed I saw when I took the pictures (except I kind of made the tree trunk look richer than it really was, because it emphasizes the the lines and patterns that I had wanted to show). My jpeg images are all much more washed out than I thought they were when I selected the real subjects to photograph.

  1. Also, regarding the leaf drop pictures, when I saw this in real life, the water drops looked absolutely SILVER. That is why I thought to take the picture. Like drops of mercury. But it didn't translate.

  2. I can never get silvery drops to look in a photo the way they look to my eye in real life.

That said, the photo is beautiful nonetheless. I like the angle of the leaf, the way it curves, and the delicate pattern. The drops are beautiful too, even if not exactly as you hoped to capture them.
