The Empire Helmet Shell form found in nature is both elegant and durable with its smooth underside and rounded edges and repeating pattern of horns and interior ridges that resemble teeth, giving it an almost ferocious look. I shot this photo at an aperture of f5.6 at 1/60th of a second using my 14-45mm zoom lens set at 23mm.
